This is my final project. There was not much else i had to say that I already havent said. So i used the clipping mask to cut images of my self into my name. I used those pictures in my name because its of me growing up. And i used photoshop to edit the other photos. Basically its about things i like. I love to drive and i love my cat. I like bright colorful things as well. I love the county and wood so i put that as the background

MONKEY!!!

This is my text project. I chose monkeys because they are my favorite animals. I took images and put a letter over them and used the masking tool to cut the image into that letter. Then i put colored shapes behind them to make the letters stand out. I put bananas as the background.

First Memory

This is my illustrator and photoshop project. I found the tree on google and used simple trace and live paint to color it in. I took the photographs into photoshop and used the quick selection tool to erase the background. My memory is when I was a little girl my grandmother had a dog and I played with him all the time. One day I was in the yard and started to walk too far into the woods and Fred (the dog) started barking and chased me until my mom came and found me. After that Fred was like my body guard.

I traced a butterfly in illustrator using the pen tool. I then fill the shapes in with color.

Family reunion

This is my self design project. I decided to do a newsletter announcement of a family reunion. I had a photo of a big slide from the park where the reunion is held and added a pic of my family to it. I also added me sliding down the slide. The handmade aspect is where i printed the image out and wrote the information by hand on it. Then i scanned the image back in.

Eastern State Penitentiary Montage

I had to create a montage from three separate images. So I recently took a trip to the Eastern State Penitentiary and really enjoyed myself. I took multiple photos of the exterior walls from different angles and decided to use those. My idea was to create a image combining three views. So i had two pictures from the corner looking down one direction of the wall and one from the other. I also had a picture of one of the towers. The final product has sort of a two point perspective. It seems like you are standing at the corner of the building and both sides recede back in space. I used many tools in photoshop to create this effect. Including blur, erase, smudge, crop, lasso and free transform. I used blur, smudge and erase to blend the images together. The others I used to match the sizes and shapes to fit together.

Where I Come From.

This is basically a map of my life. Places I have lived, went to school, and where I grew up. Caroline county is fairly small and I have lived therefor 20 years, I was born there. I know a lot of the people because I worked in the busiest restaurant/gas station/ beer stop in town. I have included seven pictures that describe where I'm from. The map layout of the county, state flag, 3 schools, and 2 of my homes. Where I chose to place the images is about where there are located on the map. I used the blur, opacity, eraser, layers, and text tools to create this poster. I chose my family home because my grandmother has owned it for over 22 years and now I live there. The childhood apartment is where spent elementary school. The three schools are where I made all my friends and received the knowledge to be able to come to college. I am very grateful of where I come from and all the people and places that have influenced me.

My name..

I googled name and I found three images that I liked. My myspace picture came up in my search so I chose that because it was me. The second picture i chose was an image of an Asbury church, my parents were married in an Asbury church and my mom was pregnant with me at the time. The third image was a sign from Asbury park, I really do not have a connection with this one except that it has my last name. So I created this image by darkening the church in the foreground. I also changed the opacity in the asbury park sign and my picture so they are faded.
